Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2024 Kia Telluride- Video
Hi, Matt with Etrailer, and today we're talking about the Thule XT Motion roof box on top of our 2024 Kia Telluride. Now, this is gonna be especially a great option for you because this is a really big roof box, and this is gonna offer you a lot of storage, especially since the Kia doesn't, or the Kia Telluride doesn't have a whole lot of space in the back, because really you're gonna have room for people sitting in the back, and then that very back hatch area is only gonna be maybe a foot or two of space. So if you do plan on taking any longer trips, this is gonna be a great way to carry your gear or luggage from point A to point B. Today we're really just gonna be talking about how this is gonna look on top of your vehicle and how it's gonna interact with either your hatch or just in general using it. Now, we will talk a little bit about the specs and at the very end I'm gonna give a comparison just to some other options out there. Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Kia Sorento- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima 16 Cubic Foot SkyBox NX on our 2022 Kia Sorento. Adding a cargo box is the solution to the problem of how are you gonna be able to increase your cargo area if you have a full house on the inside of the vehicle. So if your Sorento has the third row like this model here, you know with that back row flipped up, you have practically no cargo area and this is gonna allow you to compensate for that, 'cause otherwise your roof would be bare and it doesn't have any space so you're making use of some useless area. The standout feature on the SkyBox NX is the nano finish that is scratch resistant and also pretty sharp looking on top of your vehicle. It's built to basically conceal any scratches or abrasions that may come up on the surface. The box itself is pretty large. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 rooftop box and seeing how it fits on the top of our 2024 Kia Telluride. So the NX 16 is a 16 cubic foot roof box and offer a pretty good amount of storage for the top of your Telluride. Now as we're looking at this, just keep in mind that there is a larger version available, an 18 cubic foot version of this box. So if you like the way it looks and the way it functions, but you need more space, that 18 cubic foot version would be a good fit for the Telluride too. But a roof box is a great way to add storage to your vehicle, whether the back is full of passengers and you need somewhere to put their stuff, or maybe you just have some messier stuff that you want to keep out of the vehicle. more

Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, I have the Yakima CBX 18 Rooftop Cargo Box, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2023 Kia Seltos. For your Seltos, if you want a little bit more cargo capacity, maybe you're going on a long trip, you have your friends in your car, but you also have maxed out the space in the hatch, well, you can get a rooftop cargo box to help out with that. It's gonna be an enclosed cargo carrier, which means it protects your cargo from the outside elements. And with this fitting on the Seltos, I do have the 18 cubic feet box, it actually does fit, meaning you can still open up your hatch and it doesn't cover up your window. So let's take a look at some other unique things and how this fits this car. Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at the Malone Cargo 16 Rooftop Cargo Box right here on our 2017 Kia Forte5. Your Forte5 is a cute little hatchback with a lot of soul. It can do a lot of stuff and get those good speeds, but did you know you can also get a roof rack and even a roof box on it My friend here owns this car, and he and his wife went out camping, and he was saying it would've been nice if they had a rooftop cargo box for their extra gear. So this is probably the maximum size I would recommend for the Forte5. You can see where I position it just enough where it just hits the antenna, but we still have space to open up our hatch. There's definitely a clearance right over there, you may have to fit around or play around with your fit to get that clearance, but now, your hatch is open for your larger, heavier, bulkier items. more

Today on our 2015 Kia Sorrento we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14. This have 14 cubic feet of cargo space and come in that nice black finish. Part Number is going to be Y07192. Let's go ahead and fit it up onto our aftermarket cross bars and see how it looks and how it fits. This will fit most all of your square bars, round bars, elliptical bars, factory roof rack systems. And we'll go ahead and set it up into place, ensuring that our feet are directly in front of our cross bars that we want them on, slide it back into place, and scoot it over to where it's centered on the vehicle. Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2015 Kia Sorrento, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow Series Cargo Box. Now this one's going to have your nice gloss black finish and 13 cubic feet of cargo space. Part number's going to be INBRA1250BK. Nice thing about this is it will fit most all of your roof rack systems, whether that be square bars, round bars, elliptical bars, factory roof rack systems, and even your aero type bars that you have on here today. Now, the nice thing about it is it has the quick fit feet, and we'll show you that once we get up here, once we get up there, we'll slide them through this rubber strip here on the backside around our crossbars. You can see here we have plenty of room to move them from front to back while they're up there so you can adjust it to your vehicle's specifications. Let's go ahead and set it up into place. Once we get it up top, we're going to center it on the vehicle. more

Now this one here is going to be eleven cubic feet of cargo space and come in that nice carbon fiber finish. Keep in mind that it is just a finish and it's not actually all carbon fiber. It's going to be part number INBRA1170C8. We'll go ahead and fit it up on top of our vehicle. This will fit on most all of your roof rack systems, whether it's a spreader bar, round bar, elliptical, even your factory roof bar systems and aero type bars. Today on our 2015 Kia Sportage, we will be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 roof top cargo box. That's part number Y07192. Now this has 14 cubic feet of space and with out roof rack system, our Yakima roof rack system already installed, we can go head and place this on our cross bars. You want to place this to where it goes around the bars, like so, and you can push it forward. It doesn't have to be center with the vehicle at all. You want to kind of slant it sideways and as you push it back, our other hooks go into place. And with that being done, we can go ahead and unlock our cargo box and tighten our red knobs. more

Today on our 2014 Kia Soul, were going to be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box with 11 cubic feet of storage space in matt black. Its part # is TH613. With our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on our Soul, we're going to begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto the load bars. This box opens from the passengers side, so were going to favor it to the side as we install it. We'll open the passeneger's side of our box and reach inside where we're going to place one of our foot packs through each of the 4 slots. We want to be sure that these go around our bars, and we'll tighten them down. We've installed our box in the forward position, and as you can see, this does give us full access into the rear hatch. With our feet secure, we're ready to load our gear and hit the road. more

Today on our 2014 Kia Soul, were going to be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 21 cubic feet of storage space in aeroskin black. Its part # TH626. With our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on our Soul, we're going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto the load bars. We have found this is the best time to be sure that our feet are in line with our bars and we'll go around them. With all 4 feet around our load bars, we'll take a quick look to be sure we have it centered. We can then open the passenger's side of the box, reach in, and tighten the two hand dials that are closest to us to secure them around our bars. One of the great features of the Force XXL it its ability to open from the both the passenger and driver's side. We can now make our way around to the driver's side, open the box and repeat the same tightening process that we used on the passenger's side. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Kia Soul- Video
Today on our 2014 Kia Soul, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box, with 22 cubic feet of storage space, in metallic silver, its part number is TH636S. With our Thule rapid traverse roof rack system already installed on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our load bars, with the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box. We have found this is the best time to line those up. With our feet lined up going around our load bars, we're now going to open the passenger side of the box. We'll reach inside and we'll tighten the two handles closest to us. The foot packs in the Sonic XXL will click when you have them tight enough. One of the great features of the Sonic XXL is its ability to open from both the passenger and driver's side. We'll now make our way around to the driver's side. Open the box, we'll reach in, tighten the two foot packs on this side, and just like that, we're ready to load our gear and hit the road. That will complete today's test fit of the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box, part number TH636S, on our 2014 Kia Soul. . more

Today, on our 2014 Kia Cadenza, we'll be test fitting the Rhino Rack Master Fit Rooftop Cargo Box with 14 cubic feet of space, silver in color, part #rmf400. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. With the box in position, we can unlock it and open the lid, exposing the closest slots. We'll take the clamps and slide them down through the slots over top of each bar. Then we can go ahead and turn the knobs, which will tighten on the clamps up against the bars. We'll move to the other side of the vehicle, and repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. Today, on our 2011 Kia Sorento, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box with 16 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH615. When positioning the box on your roof, remember that it only opens on one side, so you'll need to position it on the passenger's side of your vehicle. With the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin ourtest-fitby placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. We can now unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the four slots inthe bottom of the box. We can then take the clamps, slide them down though the slots overtop of each bar, and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2011 Kia Sorento we'll be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 21 cubic feet of space, AeroSkin black in color, part number TH626. With the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing the box on to the vehicle's bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars we can unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We'll turn the knobs to inaudible 00:00:28 the clamps up around tightly against each bar. Moving to the other side of the vehicle we'll repeat the same process. This double-sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. Once everything is all tightened down and secure that'll complete today's test fit of the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box part number TH626 on our 2011 Kia Sorento. . more

Thule Force Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2011 Kia Sorrento we will be test fitting the Thule Force Large rooftop cargo box with 13 cubic feet of space, aero skin black in color part number Th624 with a Thule rapid cross roads roof rack system on or vehicle we will begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicles bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars we can unlock the box, open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We can then turn the knobs to tighten on the clamps up against the bars. Today on our 2011 Kia Sorento well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Roof Top Cargo Box with 14 cubic feet of space, mat black in color, part number TH614. Now this box does only open from one side, so youll need to position it on the passengers side of your roof. With the Thule Rapid Cross Ridge Roof Rack System on our vehicle well begin our test fit by placing the box up onto the vehicles load bars. We can now unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We can then take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secured that will complete todays test fit of a Thule Pulse Medium, part number TH6145 on our 2011 Kia Sorento. . more

Today on our 2011 Kia Sorento we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Roof Top Cargo Box, with eleven cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH613. Remember that it only opens from one side, so you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your vehicle. Today on our 2013 Kia Optima, we'll be test-fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11 rooftop cargo box, measuring 11 cubic feet in black, part number Y07193. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Rocketbox directly onto our crossbars. With the feet attached to the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around our crossbars. With the box situated the way we like, we can move the key to the unlock position, push the red button, and open the lid of our box. We'll tighten the two hand knobs on the side of the box to tighten our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Rocketbox is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Kia Optima, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box, measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S.With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out at the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around our load bars. Once we have the box set, we can then open the passenger side of the box and tighten the hand knobs to secure the two feet on this side of the box around the bars. When you hear a clicking or ratcheting sound, that means that your clamp is tight around your bar. Another great feature of the Thule Sonic is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box, and tighten the two remaining hand knobs. more

Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro11 roof top cargo box, part number Y07193. Well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles cross bars. Well unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four black knobs and the four red T handles. We can loosen up the black knobs to adjust the clamps to fit the cross bar spread of the vehicle and slide the box onto the cross bars. We can then secure the black knobs, secure the claws in place then we can turn the red T handles to bring the clamps tightly up against the crossbars.One great feature of the Yakima RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides. This will enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro14 roof top cargo box, part number Y07192. Well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles cross bars. Well position the clamps over the cross bars and unlock the box and open the lid. We can use the black knobs to adjust to fit the cross bar spread of the vehicle. We can then turn the red T handles to bring the clamps up around tightly against each bar.This box does feature a double-sided opening lid so we can move to the other side of the vehicle to access the other handles and tighten them down. You can see that we can easily access the rear hatch with the RocketBox secured. more
